Link Buttons

Linking to my website?

Make your friends jealous! Be the first one on your block to use an Official “Armadillo Enhanced” link button to stick an electric connection between your page and mine. Just choose the image you wish to use (white or black), save the image to your computer (Please don’t just link to the file on my server!) and copy the code below into your web page.

Confused? Way back in the early days of the web, almost every site had a prominently featured link button. They were a cheap way to advertise your site. I don't generally expect that anyone will use the Armadillo Enhanced button (which, incidentally, started out as a play on the then-ubiquitous “Netscape Enhanced” button), unless such use is intended to be ironic. But I keep the button here for historical purposes, because it amuses me.

Armadillo Enhanced Black button:
Save the image above as “armen.gif”, then copy the following code into your web page:
<a href=“https://armadillo-online.org/”><img src=“armen.gif” alt=“Armadillo Enhanced” width=“88” height=“31” ></a>
Armadillo Enhanced White button:
Save the image above as “armen-white.gif”, then copy the following code into your web page:
<a href=“https://armadillo-online.org/”><img src=“armen-white.gif” alt=“Armadillo Enhanced” width=“88” height=“31” ></a>

Just copy the code and paste it into your page. Happy linking!

Note: If you keep your picture files in a separate directory, like I do, you’ll need to modify the “src” path to match where you put it.
